HOPEFUL SMILES
Learn about Hopeful Smiles™ our restorative dental program.
In response to an overwhelming need among our clients, we added a restorative dental program in 2006. Hopeful Smiles™ is a partnership with Dallas-area dentists who volunteer chair time to restore the oral appearance of women whose teeth and gums have been severely affected by illness, neglect, poverty, substance abuse, or violence – all hindrances to positive self-esteem.
Hopeful Smiles™ was founded as a natural progression to re-enforce and uphold the mission and vision of Attitudes & Attire®. This program is an additional fundamental step towards raising self-esteem and preparing women to succeed in the workforce.

Attitudes & Attire® and Hopeful Smiles™ offer free dental services for impoverished women. Clients must complete the three core workshops and volunteer a minimum of 20 hours at the agency before being assigned a dental provider. The clients must pay $25 for the lab service*.
